'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows' is an upcoming 3D action-comedy film intended as the sequel to 2014's reboot of the same name. Paramount recently released its latest teaser to be aired at the Super Bowl 50 on February 7.

According to Comicbook, Paramount Pictures recently released the sequel's teaser trailer scheduled to be aired at the upcoming Super Bowl 50 at the Levi's Stadium in California on February 7. The new film will be the follow-up to Jonathan Liebesman's cinematic reboot released in 2014.

The four actors lending their voices to the titular mutant turtles include Alan Ritchson, Noel Fisher, Johnny Knoxville and Jeremy Howard for Raphael, Michaelangelo, Leonardo and Donatello, respectively.

According to MovieWeb, a host of new characters will be introduced in the the second TMNT reboot including new allies as well as antagonists. Mask wearing vigilante Casey Jones will finally be adapted on the big-screen by Stephen Amell.

Amell hinted during a previous interview that his version of Casey Jones will be different from the comic books, according to Uproxx.

He said, "It's certainly not your father's or your younger self's Casey Jones, but that's because we meet him at a very different time in his development. He is not the Casey Jones that a lot of comic fans have come to know and love. He is a guy with a job that lives in New York and loves hockey. When things go awry, and he goes through the normal methods someone go through when they're a law-abiding citizen and he's met with laughter and scorn, he decides to take things into his own hands."

In addition to Casey Jones, villainous duo Bebop and Rocksteady will be played by Gary Anthony Williams and wrestler Stephen "Seamus" Farrelly, respectively. Laura Linney, Tyler Perry, Brittany Ishibashi and Brian Tee make up the rest of the cast.

Dave Green takes on the reins as the second film's director with Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec serving as screenwriters. Michael Bay returns to the series as producer together with Andrew Form, Bradley Fuller, Scott Mednick and Galen Walker. Appelbaum, Nemec, Grant Curtis and Denis L. Stewart are executive producing.
