"X-Men" actress Haley Ramm joins "The Originals" Season 3 to play as the newest witch, Ariane. Showrunner Michael Narducci has also announced that Danielle Campbell's Davina is going to make a major comeback. Also, the CW has released the official plot description for the 12th episode, "Dead Angels".
"X-Men" alum Haley Ramm officially joins the cast of "The Originals" Season 3 and according to Entertainment Weekly, the 23-year-old American actress is set to play as the brand new witch in town. Ariane happens to come from a coven that is known to practice an extremely dangerous form of dark magic. Some photos posted suggest that the newcomer is not on the side of the Mikaelsons.
In addition, showrunner Michael Narducci revealed via E! Online that Danielle Campbell is slated to return to "The Originals" Season 3. Narducci teased that the 21-year-old American actress is going to make a major comeback when she debuts in the previous episode (episode 11) entitled "Wild at Heart". Campbell portrays the role of Davina Claire, a supreme witch leader (aka Regent) of New Orleans.
As for the official plot of episode 12, Spoilers Guide notes, "When a weapon that could take down the Mikaelsons for good ends up in the wrong hands, Klaus finds himself in a standoff with an unlikely foe; Elijah's attempt to reclaim control of The Strix leads to a violence and the emergence of a new leader; When a new coven of witches tries to influence Davina into helping them find the weapon, she quickly realizes she may be in over her head."
"The Originals" Season 3 Episode 12 is entitled as "Dead Angels". The forthcoming episode is scheduled to premiere on Friday, February 12, 2016 at 9:00 p.m. exclusively on The CW.
