Karl Urban who plays Dr. Leonard 'Bones' McCoy in Star Trek Beyond announced that the team already got the script of the film and it's printed in red with their name on it. Latest news of Star Trek Beyond also says that Simon Pegg might write the remaining script.
Actor Karl Urban told Entertainment Tonight that they already received the script and said that there are specific spelling mistakes incorporated into each draft, so that if it leaks out, the studio could still track it back to whose script it was. Last few weeks ago, fans got their first look at the Star Trek Beyond and the reviews have been very excellent so far. One of the fans says that the action sequence seems to have improved. Most of the Star Trek fans also wanted to have a richer script and a more robust storyline.
The behind-the-scenes videos posted on the internet gives a little hint about the script, however, it surely added more fuel to the hype. Screen Rant reported that superstar Chris Pine announced that Star Trek Beyond will honor the Star Trek's past. The team said that they have something in the movie that serves as a tribute to the recent passing of Leonard Nimoy.
Movie Web reported that Chris Pine, who's been a fan of the franchise himself said that Leonard Nimoy was a very 'special special' man. He said that the team misses the actor very badly and how they wished he was still alive and filming with them.
Meanwhile, Simon Pegg who will reprise his role as Lt. Commander Montgomery 'Scotty' Scott told Collider that it will his first time to write for Star Trek. "Bryan was like, 'Do you want to write it then?' It was a difficult decision. I hemmed and hawed about it, a little bit because it felt like a big responsibility," the actor said.
Still there is no news whether William Shatner will appear on Star Trek Beyond. The film is set to hit the theater on July 15.
