'X-Men: Apocalypse' is an upcoming installment in the 'X-Men' cinematic series. Sophie Turner revealed some details regarding her character Jean Grey's relationships with Cyclops and Professor X.

According to MoviePilot, Turner revealed major plot hints regarding her character Jean Grey's popular relationship with another mutant. Jean Grey and Scott Summers a.k.a. Cyclops are one of the famous couples in the X-Men franchise.

In the new film, the two get acquainted as teenagers. She said, "It's really interesting to see the young douchebag Scott, and the young, shy Jean, and watching them fall out and make up and this weird chemistry they have." Tye Sheridan will star opposite Turner as Cyclops.

Jean Grey is also best-known as one of Professor Charles Xavier's most trusted allies, often with her as second-in-command. Turner elaborated more on their relationship in the upcoming film stating that the two form a close father-daughter bond and will not be romantic in any way.

According to Cinema Blend, the 19-year old English actress revealed that her Jean Grey and James McAvoy's Charles Xavier a.k.a. Professor X will have a different relationship compared to Famke Jansen and Patrick Stewart's characters.

She said, "They have this unspoken bond because he's telepathic as well, he's gone through the same things. He's very powerful and he sees that growing in her. He wants to protect her and help her control her powers, but also help her access the best of her ability. They have a really sweet relationship."

According to Digital Spy, Turner hinted that the new film will feature more of young Jean Grey's struggle with her powerful abilities as coping with being a special teenager. She said that this leads her to being vulnerable and alienated from the group at times. She added, "My Jean is definitely struggling with her powers, and coming to terms with just how powerful she can be... Being a mutant ain't easy."

Turner is best known for her role as Sansa Stark in HBO's highly popular series 'Game of Thrones' based on the series of fantasy novels by author George R. R. Martin. She was nominated for multiple accolades for her work in the series as well as earned an Empire Award.

'X-Men: Apocalypse' is an upcoming superhero film directed by Bryan Singer based on the screenplay by Simon Kinberg. It is scheduled to be released on May 27, 2016.
