MacBook Pro 2016 To Arrive Q1 of 2016 With Intel Skylake Chipset

By

The Apple MacBook Pro 2016 release has been moved from last year to this year. It is speculated that the upcoming laptop which will likely have an Intel Skylake chipset under its hood would hit market shelves on the first quarter of 2016.

According to Christian Today, Apple may choose to release the MacBook Pro 2016 during a speculated event that could take place in March. Though there is no available information yet about the Apple's upcoming event, there are talks stating that multiple products may be unveiled during the occasion.

Another speculation is if the company decides not to launch the MacBook Pro 2016 this March, then another possibility could be in the month June. More specifically, Apple may choose to release its upcoming MacBook Pro during the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) that will happen roughly five months from now.

Feature-wise, Vine Report predicts the product to feature Intel's newest processor called Skylake. The new chipset which is an upgrade from Broadwell, is believed to give the performance of the integrated graphics chips a boost by 16 to 41 percent. It would also boost the Pro 2016's CPU speed by 10 to 20 percent, and give a more efficient power use that can save up to 30 percent more for its battery life.

Youth Health Magazine added that Skylake will be integrating a pair of new wireless communication standards including WiDi or Wireless Display and WiGig, a short-range high-speed wireless data of up to 7gbps.

The MacBook Pro 2016 may have a bigger version with a 15-inch screen, aside from its 11-inch screen in the previous model. The new laptop is also predicted to be thinner, lighter and have a better screen resolution.

Apart from the laptop, Apple is also set to announce iPad Air 3 as an update for its 2014 iPad Air 2, a new smart watch called WatchOS 2.2, and a smaller version of its iPhone at 4 inches called iPhone 5se, in mid-March.

Apple is not yet confirming anything though so the above information should be taken with a pinch of salt.
