Bandai Namco's Tekken 7: Fated Retribution is truly ready to hit the arcades soon enough, but not until the team themselves get the chance to see what the masses think of the said expansion. Moreover, as there will be expected updates before the anticipated console release, Bandai Namco is assumed to do what is necessary for the title to be balanced.
According to Youth Health Mag, Bandai Namco's Tekken 7: Fated Retribution is the latest expansion under the Tekken franchise as done vigorously in the past installments. Such continuities as Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection and Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion, the corresponding expansion offers updates of new properties and possibilities.
Most importantly is the addition of new characters that many wait for; in this case, Street Fighter's Akuma. But before all of it comes to an official launch, a test is bound to happen.
As reported by Mobi Picker, there will be tests to take place in select Japanese arcades this February 12th and will end on February 14th, 2016. The arcades that are bound to receive their share of the tests include the Namco Sugamo in Tokyo, Round One Stadium Sennichimae arcade in Osaka and Namco's Hakata Bus terminal arcade in Fukuoka.
Within the tests, updates promised in the past include the latest Corpse-Kicking privilege which allows the players to take a few moments to beat up an already defeated opponent, as well as the newest character default costumes witnessed in the trailer.
It was aforementioned that Street Fighter's Akuma is the biggest update that many expect. But rumors of including the Williams sisters Anna and Nina as well as Bob and Kuma are some teasers that fans have been so intrigued over.
Delivered by Christian Post, fans are looking forward to the probable application of the VR Headset towards console versions of the game even when fans are skeptical over its proposed function. There are no news yet as to whether the arcades will have their share of a VR headset application and Bandai Namco clarifies that it will serve the title well, though, not the same way that other games use it.
Tekken 7: Fated Retribution's Japanese arcade tests have been looked forward to since the game expansion was released. More importantly, the said decision will prove that the decision to have put Street Fighter's Akuma may be properly justified.
