Xbox One Backward Compatibility List of Games for January Announced

As Microsoft's Xbox One Backwards Compatibility has become somewhat a tradition to those that await for their favorite games to once again be available on the latest hardware. Simply put, gamers are to be treated with the latest games that this month will officially be offering.

According to Express, it has been quite a while since the announcement of Microsoft that there will be games from the Xbox 360 that will be made compatible to the new Xbox One. That being said, fans have basked in the titles that were released last month, and January will prove to be no different, such as titles Halo Reach, Fable 3, Braid, Peggle, and Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

As per International Business Times, another batch of wonderful games are expected to be made compatible to the Xbox One, namely Sam & Max Save the World, Aegis Wing, Counter-Strike: GO, Age of Booty and Small Arms. The list does not stop there as there will also be Space Giraffe, Soul Caliber, Skullgirls, Jeremy McGrath's Offroad and the most resounding one to date, The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings. All the games are confirmed for the said program, and will continue add more along the way.

Because of the program being a pure success, Xbox's Major Nelson stated for the sake of information that Xbox players have logged in a total of 21 million hours only to play their favorite Xbox One Backward Compatibility titles.

Xbox One games made Backward Compatible are only the beginning. In the coming months, fans can expect another set of games to enter the roster, until the company decides that they are to do something different.
