The latest Android Marshmallow is rolling out to several HTC devices. The update has arrived on the HTC One M8 in Asia and the HTC One M9 in Canada.

Users of HTC One M8 in Asia can now update their phones with Android 6.0 Marshmallow. HTC has started a massive roll out of the update to its latest devices. Now, Android Marshmallow has come to one of the best HTC devices - the One M8.

Android Origin reported that the One M8 is considered as the best flagship device of HTC. The HTC One M8 is known for its superior performance running both Android and Windows. Users of the One M8 do not experience overheating problems unlike the One M9, HTC's flagship for 2015. The HTC One M9 runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor which is known for overheating and throttling issues.

HTC One M8 users residing in Asia can now download Android 6.0 Marshmallow via over-the-air (OTA) update. It is assumed that the Marshmallow update will be the last for the HTC One M8 as it approaches the end of its two-year update life cycle.

Meanwhile, Day Herald said that the HTC One M9 also began receiving Android 6.0 Marshmallow in Canada. Mo Versi, HTC Vice President of Product Management, posted on Twitter that Android Marshmallow will arrive on the HTC One M9 on January 18. It was reported that owners of HTC One M9 on carriers Rogers, Sasktel, Videotron, and Wind Mobile are getting upgraded to Marshmallow.

An HTC ROM developer tweeted that Android Marshmallow will be available for the HTC Desire Eye soon. The device is said to get the latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update topped with Sense 7.0 UI.

Aside from HTC, Android Marshmallow is slowly making its way to more devices from other manufacturers. According to Lawyer Herald, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 under Verizon is slated for an Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update on February 2016. Samsung is reportedly testing the software build on some phones.

Meanwhile, T-Mobile said that the Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, and S6 Edge+ will be receiving Marshmallow updates. Currently, Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge users in the UK and South Korea are trying out Marshmallow beta versions.
