'The Walking Dead' Season 6 Update: Midseason Premiere Photos Released; Is Daryl In Trouble?

By

"The Walking Dead" Season 6 midseason premiere is set to be out in less than a month now. To excite the fans, AMC released new promo photos teasing what viewers are slated to see including Daryl who might be in trouble as per numerous reports.

In a report by Inquisitr, the photos show Daryl Dixon, Sasha, and Abraham. In the first photo, Daryl is featured standing by a truck and in the other photos, Sasha is seen outside the vehicle as well as Abraham. However, they are not seen together in one photo, making it seem like Sasha is on one side of the truck while Daryl is on the other. As for Abraham, he appears to be crouching down so it is unclear if he is also near the truck.

Although the photos do not show much details about what to expect in "The Walking Dead" Season 6, fans speculate that since the cliffhanger in the first half of the show revealed a group that blocked their way as they were to go back to Alexandria, it is possible that they are planning to fight the group of Negan.

The trio faced-off with a group of bikers who said that the truck, the gas, the weapons, and everything else that they have with them now belongs to Negan.

Zap2it also reported that via the comic book series, Negan's Savior and Negan himself being introduced means bad news. In fact, showrunner Scott Gimple recently said in an interview that the second half will show major chaos. He also teased that there will be some loss which fueled speculations that it could be Daryl, considering Glenn was spared from being eaten by zombies in the first half of "The Walking Dead" Season 6.

Aside from the promo photos, Ecumenical News reported that a new character named Jesus will also be seen in "The Walking Dead" Season 6B. Creator Robert Kirkman already revealed previously that the second half will feature new people who have a lot of great skills.

Kirkman added, "Jesus is just such a fun character to write in the comics. At this point in the life of the series, my thought is the apocalypse has been going on for so long, the people you encounter in your day-to-day life have to be extremely skilled. And they've been surviving for a reason, whether they were at a place like Alexandria that's very safe, or they're a great leader of their group and somewhat sadistic but in control of their group like Negan, or someone who's an absolute, complete bada** like Jesus."

To know more of Daryl, Sasha and Abraham's fate, as well as the new characters Jesus and Negan, don't miss the "The Walking Dead" Season 6B premiere this February 14 on AMC.
