Microsoft Lumia 750, 850 to be released this year; Qualcomm's Snapdragon 617 as processor

2016 sure promises to bring in a lot of new devices. One of the anticipated smartphones by Microsoft fan boys are the Lumia 850 and the Lumia 750. Rumors said that it will be released in the first quarter of this year with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 617 as its processor.

Last year, rumors have come out that the 850 and 750 will be released alongside the Lumia 550. Consumers were dismayed just to find out that the two model phones are nowhere to be found. But this year will be different as the Lumia 850 and 750 are now back on track, since certificates fom China has already been approved for this phones.

Reports from IB Times say that China said that RM-1182 is the model number of the new Lumia device, which passed 3C certification last December 28. Rumors also have circulated that these new models of the Lumia will be released with the Lumia 650 as it was already certified and cleared in the US.

Little has been known regarding the Lumia 850 but reports says that it will be code named as Honjo, it was spotted at a website in china named Teiba. It will use a 5.7-inch display. Experts believed that it will be using the Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor clocking 1.5 GHz, Adreno 405 GPU and Cat.7 LTE. It comes with 16GB internal memory with 2GB of RAM. It will have a 10MP primary camera and a 5MP front shooter. The device will be powered by a 2650 maH battery.

On the other hand, the Lumia 750 is anticipated to feature a 5-inch screen display with 720p of resolution. The machine underneath this phone will be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor it will use the Adreno 405 GPU that runs at 1.5 GHz with LTE. An 8GB of internal memory will be utilized paired with a 1GB of RAM. The main camera will be an 8MP clicker with a 5MP secondary clicker. For power, it will have a 2650maH battery.

Will Microsoft disappoint their fans again? Or will they provide the consuming public another bang for the buck device? Hopes will be high for each and every gizmo geek, but all we have to do now is just sit and wait.
