The year 2016 brings a lot of optimism in the smartphone industry. Big players like Samsung, HTC and Apple are bringing their game face on. Sony's flagship phone the Xperia Z6 has no plans of taking the slack behind.
The Z series phones from Sony is known for its unique design, excellent build and one of a kind features. The company has been using the same design on all its flagship phones which is basically a rectangular body with metal frame and black glass. Fans are also expecting to find the same attributes on the Z6 but hopes to discover something different on the looks.
According to PC advisor, Sony is pushing the Xperia Z6s screen to QHD, it will rival Samsungs AMOLED display. Experts say that with this move, it will harm the phones battery life and the battery itself but if there's anyone who can do it, it's the geeks from Sony. It will be feat placing a 4k screen inside a small device. This move will definitely give the Z6 an edge over the others.
Tech Radar said that Sony will be using the Snapdragon 820 chip, it will be a definite update from the Z5s 810. Fans are hoping that Sony will upgrade the RAM over the 4GB mark. The unit will also be using Androids latest 6.0 Marshmallow.
The Z6 wants to give its fans a range of media marvels. It will have a Hi-Res audio support and speakers that are mounted in front. One of the rumors that came is that Sony will include a 3D Touch feature which is also found on the Iphone 6S as reported by Android Authority.
Another feature that is unique to Sony that people love is its water and dust resistance feature. But experts still do not advise users to submerge it into salt water or chlorinated water. Additional rumored features that will only be found in the Z6 is that it may have an Iris scanner and or a holographic screen. Until then fans will have to wait and see if Sony did bring their A game on.
