Lenovo's new Vibe K5 borrowed some design ideas from Xiaomi Redmi Note 3; Will it beat Ipad Mini features?

Lenovo has launched its much anticipated Vibe K4 note though it has not yet heat up the consuming public. Rumors of its successor, the Vibe K5, is now circulating the web and the design might be familiar to some gadget fanatics. It may resemble Xiaomi's Redmi Note 3.

China's certification telecommunication authority, TENNA, revealed the specs of the Lenovo K5 Note. The listing of the new smartphone is the model k52t38. As for aesthetics, TENNA said that it will look much like the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 and some design ideas from Meizu phones as reported by Gadgets 360.

It will feature a 5.5 inch full HD display. Below the screen, the home, multi-window and back buttons are located. On the right side of the device, the volume rocker and power buttons are seen. Color options are said to be yellow and white.

According to Mobile Source, the new device will be powered by a faster 64-Bit Octa-core Helio P10 processor running at 1.8GHz. And is under Google's operating system, Android 5.1 Lollipop. With 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory and an additional 32GB expandable memory, multitasking will be a breeze.

A 13-MP auto Focus Rear camera with dual-LED flash is also said to be included in Lenovo K5 Note. If this rumor is true, then surely fans will be able to capture outstanding photographs in low light. The 8-MP camera located in front of the camera will also be useful for selfies and video calling. Lenovo K5 will be powered by a powerful 4000mAh battery. Plus, it's programmed for quick charging according to Mobil Link Mobile.

Sensor accelerometer, ambient light sensor, magnetometer, and proximity sensor adds up to the phones rumored impressive specs. Some say Lenovo K5 Note can beat the Ipad Mini, but so far the reviews were not in favor with Lenovo. However, some find K5 to be much easier to use and has faster specs than Apple products. The upcoming release date would be somewhere within this year's first quarter.
