'Ghostbusters' is an upcoming remake of Ivan Reitman's 1980s supernatural comedy. It will star Kristen Wiig and Melissa McCarthy with surprise cameos from original cast members Dan Arkroyd and Bill Murray among others. Neill Casey and Charles Dance have also signed on as the newest antagonistic characters.

According to Collider, Paul Feig's new reboot of the 1984 supernatural-comedy classic is set to feature a good sized list of surprise cameos. Sigourney Weaver, Dan Arkroyd, Ernie Hudson, Annie Potts and Bill Murray will all appear in the upcoming film with some disclosed by Feig himself. All five actors were the original cast members of the memorable '80s film directed by Ivan Reitman.

The reboot will star a four-piece ensemble of comediennes Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones who play Erin Gilbert, Abby Yates, Jillian Holtzman and Patty Tolan, respectively. In an unusual flip of stereotypical gender roles, Chris Hemsworth will play the foursome's secretary Kevin.

According to Rollingstone, Murray expressed his admiration for the all-female reimagining saying, "I like those girls a lot. I mean, I really do... They are tough to say no to. And Paul is a real nice fellow." He added that he enjoyed filming with the new cast and crew and that they were bound to have "great success" in the new project.

Meanwhile, Neill Casey and Charles Dance have also reportedly signed on to play antagonistic characters in the 'Ghostbusters' reboot. According to /Film, Casey will be a man named Rowan while Dance's role remains unknown.

The latter is best known for his role as the conniving Tywin Lannister in HBO's highly popular television show 'Game of Thrones'. The 69-year old English actor typically takes on villainous characters with some of his more notable work seen on 'Dracula Untold' as Master Vampire, 'Imitation Game' as Alastair Denniston, 'Alien 3' as Dr. Jonathan Clemens and 'The Golden Child' as Sardo Numspa.

When asked about his character, Dance joked that he would be "a straight man to a bunch of funny ladies". He elaborated by saying, "He's not villainous, but he just doesn't understand and appreciate the whole ghostbusting thing. He is English as well."

'Ghostbusters' is an upcoming supernatural comedy scheduled to be released on July 15, 2016. It is a re-work of the 'Ghostbusters' franchise made popular in the 1980s and is written and directed by Paul Feig.
