LG Nexus 5X Update: 5.2-Inch Android 6.0 Device Gets $30 Price Cut

The LG Nexus 5X and Huawei Nexus 6P are the first handsets to run on the latest operating system made by Google. For those who are interested to experience Android 6.0 Marshmallow can now purchase the former as it recently got a price slash of $30.

Latin Post reported that the 16GB version of the Nexus 5X that is originally priced at $379 is now available for $349. On the other hand, the 32GB model tagged at $429 upon release is now down to $399.

The biggest search engine company has commissioned LG to manufacture the Nexus 5X as the successor to the Nexus 5 from 2013. This 2015 smartphone isn't exactly a high-end flagship, but it does give attractive features and boots Android Marshmallow as it came out of the box.

The Nexus 5X features a 5.2-inch screen with a 1080x1920 resolution display. It is engineered with a Qualcomm's Snapdragon 808 processor that has six cores clocked at 1.8GHz. As for its measurements, this device is 147 millimeters long, 73 millimeters wide and eight millimeters wide while it weighs 136 grams.

This device is a single SIM smartphone that supports a Nano-SIM. Its connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC and 4G. The LG Nexus 5X sports Band 40 connectivity used by some LTE networks in India. The sensors on the smartphone include Ambient light sensor, Proximity sensor, Gyroscope and Accelerometer.

Furthermore, Mashable added that the Nexus 5X is packed with a 2 GB of RAM. When it comes to the camera, it is armored with a 12.3-megapixel front facing snapper with dual-Led flash and a 5-megapixel selfie shooter; all powereby a 2700 mAh battery.

As for the other Nexus handset, International Business Times stated on its article that there is no discount yet available on the price of Google Nexus 6P. It is accessible with a starting cost of $499 for the base model. Nevertheless, the 2014 Nexus 6 is currently obtainable with a massive discount of $400.

As the LG Nexus 5X's price has marked down, this would be a good opportunity for buyers to grab the new smartphone that is not just budget-friendly, but also advanced in features.
