'Penny Dreadful' Season 3 trailer, teaser photos released for May 2016 official premiere; Dracula to appear?

Showtime finally releases the official trailer and exclusive photos for "Penny Dreadful" Season 3. Also, rumor has surfaced that the famous character Dracula will be appearing in the show. Plus, the official synopsis for the premiere episode of the 3rd installment has been revealed.

Showtime recently released the official teaser clip and exclusive photos for "Penny Dreadful" Season 3 and confirmed that the new set of episodes is slated to air in May 2016, as revealed by Coming Soon.

On the other hand, rumors are circulating online that the famous character Dracula will be appearing in the upcoming season of "Penny Dreadful", as mentioned on Realty Today.

As for the official plot of Season 3 episode 1, Collider notes, "Patti LuPone returns as a series regular in the new role of Dr. Seward, an American therapist who treats Vanessa (Eva Green) with an unconventional new approach. Wes Studi joins as a series regular as Kaetenay, an intense, enigmatic Native American with a deep connection to Ethan (Josh Hartnett) who also becomes an ally to Sir Malcolm (Timothy Dalton). The 3rd season also adds Dr. Henry Jekyll (Shazad Latif).

Guest stars include Christian Camargo as Dr. Alexander Sweet, a zoologist who has unlikely friendship with Vanessa; Sam Barnett as Dr. Seward's secretary; Jessica Barden as Justine, a young acolyte to Lily (Billie Piper) and Dorian Gray (Reeve Carney), Perdita Weeks as Catriona Hartdegan, a scholar with expert knowledge of the supernatural. Simon Russell Beale returns as Dr. Ferdinand Lyle. Rorry Kinnear (as The Creature) and Harry Treadaway (as Dr. Frankenstein) also star."

"Penny Dreadful" Season 3 is scheduled to premiere on Sunday, May 1, 2016 at 10:00 p.m. exclusively on Showtime. "Penny Dreadful" is a British-American horror drama TV series written and created by three-time Oscar nominee John Logan and executively produced by Logan's Desert Wolf Productions along with Oscar winner Sam Mendes and Pippa Harris.
