The Trump campaign representatives tried eliminating the other Republican candidates for President in the ballot voting in Illinois last Wednesday. They failed miserably as they only came two minutes before closing of the board of elections and did not bring the number of copies the documents needed.
During the last day of gathering objections of signatures and filing them, Trump's chair Kent Gray showed up and filed objections. The Guardian reported that Gray showed up two minutes before closing and failed to bring duplicate copies of his documents. Other candidates' campaign representatives were all there to file documents to defend their candidates' signatures but it was not needed as Gray failed.
It was widely known that Governor John Kasich of Ohio, a Trump critic, had difficulty collecting signatures in Illinois, and representatives of Kasich, along with the campaigns of Florida senator Marco Rubio and neurosurgeon Ben Carson, were monitoring for any objections from rival camps. Kasich representative also failed to bring duplicates of their documents but it was okay because Gray did the same.
Many reactions about what the Trump camp tried doing were posted in Free Public. Many of them were criticizing the move and are saying Trump usually plays like that. A comment from Angels 27 said "My opinion of him went up! This is not a gentleman's fight. It is war." She added that if that's how the Democrats do it then that's how Republicans should do it too.
On another note, Republicans will have a debate tonight and according to Politico there are many things to watch out. There will be banter between Ted Cruz and Donald Trump as Ted Cruz will not be "Mr Nice guy" anymore. There will also be a fight between Jeb Bush and Donald Trump again as Bush will not let himself go down alone. The topics will be about economic matter and foreign affairs and Trump might become a snooze fest.
Many people are against Trump winning but there are also Republicans who likes Trump. Many believes that Trump will make America great again, how about you?
