"Grimm" Season 5's second half will be premiering this January and the official synopsis for the upcoming episode has been released. It has been reported that there will be a love triangle amongst Nick, Adalind, and Eve.
In a report by Movie Pilot, the first half of the season ended with a big bang after Juliette, who is now Eve, has returned. Just a recap, Juliette is not really alive but her body has been taken over by Eve. Actress Bitsie Tulloch, who plays the role of Eve/Juliette, said in a statement that her character is much different from the woman that Nick loved.
Eve is this mysterious woman who is working with Hadrian's Wall. Accordingly, Eve will be fighting in the war against the Wesen uprising.
The show's co-creator, David Greenwalt, said in a statement, "It's this new character, Eve, who has not been brainwashed exactly, but she's been through some incredibly tough training where they broke her down to nothing. She's basically a super Hexenbiest weapon for Hadrian's Wall to fight Black Claw."
Carter Matt also reported that fans will be expecting a lot in the January 29 winter premiere of the episode entitled "Eve of Destruction. The next episode of "Grimm" Season 5 as per the official synopsis will be about Nick and the gang trying to get back from the surprise return of Juliette/Eve. Monroe and Rosalee will also be seeking answers from the Wesen council and Trubel will be having some information that Nick will want to know about.
As for Nick, Eve, and Adalind, Parent Herald reported that because of the baby of Nick and Adalind, there might be a brewing romance between them as they were able to put their differences aside. In the promo photo of "Grimm" Season 5's upcoming episode, the two even seemed to be in a deep conversation which was reportedly taken before a steamy kissing session took place.
However, since Juliette/Eve is back, Nick might be wanting to know more about the new character in his supposedly dead love's body. It is however not confirmed yet if Eve's arrival will ruin the dynamics between Adalind and Nick.
