‘Wonder Woman’ Updates: Plot details uncovered; Chris Pine shares thoughts about his role

After the upcoming updates regarding the release of superhero film Batman V Superman from the DC Extended Universe, the Wonder Woman movie is now in talks for happening with details unveiled by some reports. Moreover, actor Chris Pine shared his thoughts about the role of Wonder Woman.

DC Comics is now in movie rage after announcing production of other superhero films one after another, and of course, the female Amazon warrior is not being left behind as plot details were revealed. In the article of Blasting News, rumours spread out regarding what will the film can offer to the fans and audience of anticipated superhero film. According to rumours, the plot of the film might centre on two different eras where flashbacks might happen. One of these eras is the First World War that will tell the story of Wonder Woman meeting Steve Trevor while the second era is the modern years.

In line with the plot, possible villains of the Diana of Themyscira include two characters. According to Vine Report, comic character named Circe will be paired with Ares as the two villains that Wonder Woman will fight. The reports include that there might be a Chimera transformation from Circe toward the end of the planned movie. Moreover, the flashbacks being talked about will also show how Wonder Woman defeated Ares in the first time. These details aren't confirmed yet but word is that Eva Green and Sean Bean are already considered for the roles.

Lastly, actor Chris Pine told his insights about the upcoming film as a fulfilling need for the industry. Cinema Blend reported that the actor, who will be the love interest of Wonder Woman as Steve Trevor, said that "I think in the world today we've had plenty enough of male-driven everything" and adding that it's time for the world to see women who are beautiful, strong and intelligent to handle some of the battles. Moreover, he's very enthusiastic in supporting Gal Gadot in the first female-lead superhero film.

The Wonder Woman is the upcoming film based on DC Comics character that will star Gal Gadot as the lead. Plot details regarding the film were uncovered by some rumours but these are still not confirmed. Lastly, actor Chris Pine provided his insight about the film's role in the superhero industry. The film is scheduled to be released in 3D and IMAX theatres on June 23, 2017.
