JoJo is definitely back on track after taking an eight-year hiatus. After her "Tringle" (three singles released simultaneously) on summer, she now gives her fans a treat with #LoveJo2, which is a surprise four-track EP.
The 24-year-old singer released the said surprise project which, according to Spin, features three new singles namely "Right on Time," "Back To Life" (a Soul II Soul house-thumping song), and the much-awaited version of "Thinkin Out Loud" which she has been singing during her tours. Also, it includes a remix of her tringle cut entitled "When Love Hurts" and this time, mixing it with Mary J. Blige's "Real Love, "
The production of the "Too Little, Too Late" singer's latest EP was courtesy of JordanXL, Noisecastle and Austin Brown. MTV also reported that Jojo will be heading to Europe on March after her recently wrapped up "I Am Jojo" tour in New Orleans during her birthday last December 20.
Indeed, so much has been happening to Jojo's career now. That is why when asked how she feels releasing her brand new music, she shared how anxious she is as she thinks her fans deserve more.
"I'm nervous in a way - I just set a high standard for myself and also I want to impress my fans," JoJo said. Well, fans were already impressed with her for sure as her #LoveJo2 EP is as marvelous as her Tringle which included songs such as the ballad "Say Love," the mid-tempo single "Save My Soul and upbeat dance track "When Love Hurts" (which was mentioned above as also a part of her EP).
As one fan said, the songs are literally everything. Further, Jojo's vocals are so on point on every song. And to give fans an idea on what's next for the singer, well, she is expected to release her third full-length album this year, according to RTT News.
Truly, her hiatus did not prevent her from making good music. Her supporters are surely in for ore treat this year.
