Shawn Mendes officially guest stars in "The 100" Season 3 to portray the role of a young Ark survivor. Having said that, the official plot for the premiere episode as well as the season 3 spoiler clip have been released by The CW.
Shawn Mendes is set to make a cameo appearance in "The 100" Season 3 and according to Entertainment Monthly, the 17-year-old Canadian singer and songwriter is going to play the character of a young Ark survivor who will utilize his talents to get out of an embarrassing situation.
As for the official synopsis of The 100 Season 3 premiere episode, Spoilers Guide notes, "Three months have passed since the tragedy at Mount Weather and our heroes learn that a bounty has been put on Clarke Griffin's (Eliza Taylor) head. Unbeknownst to Clarke, a team led by Bellamy Blake (Bob Morley) and Marcus Kane (Henry Ian Cusick) journeys deep into grounder territory to save her. Meanwhile, John Murphy (Richard Harmon) finds his way to the mansion and discovers a very different Thelonious Jaha (Isaiah Washington) on a very different mission."
On the other hand, The Wrap has shared the official spoiler clip of the 3rd installment of The CW series. The trailer features Clarke who tries to recall the time she and Bellamy committed genocide to save the people from the enemy. Also, Bellamy begins to become close with Kane who warns him not to ruin his leadership from the Sky People who believes in his capability to bring peace.
