Sony Xperia C5 Ultra Android 6.0 Marshmallow Release Update

Android 6.0 Marshmallow upgrade is coming to Sony Xperia C5 Ultra very soon through official over-the-air (OTA) update. Sony vowed to offer users Marshmallow that brings in new Sony features, additional functionality and a better user experience.

Sony Xperia C5 Ultra as its dual versions near the upgrade to Android 6.0 Marshmallow as the year opens following a revelation last year that the Japanese already is on the verge of preparing the software. According to Sony's support page, it has committed to deliver the update the soonest to as many devices as many possible.

Android 6.0 Marshmallow is slated to come in the first quarter of 2016 as soon as January. As of the moment, Xperia C5 Ultra is running on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop versions which was last updated in September 2015.

However, the Japanese tech titan noted that software updates are rolled out at different stages depending on the mobile operator, location or country and market. Therefore, Sony cannot fully divulged for now the exact date of release of the upgrade to its devices.

Aside from Xperia C5 Ultra, Sony will also be rolling out the Marshmallow build to XperiaTM Z5, XperiaTM Z5 Dual, XperiaTM Z5 Compact, XperiaTM Z5 Premium, XperiaTM Z5 Premium Dual, XperiaTM Z4 Tablet, XperiaTM Z3+, XperiaTM Z3+ Dual, XperiaTM Z3, XperiaTM Z3 Dual, XperiaTM Z3 Compact, XperiaTM Z3 Tablet Compact, XperiaTM Z2, XperiaTM Z2 Tablet, XperiaTM M5, XperiaTM M5 Dual, XperiaTM M4 Aqua, XperiaTM M4 Aqua Dual, XperiaTM C4 and XperiaTM C4 Dual.
