ARK: Survival Evolved Releases New Creature Prior to 1 Million Download Success; PS4, Xbox One Versions Out Soon

By

Given that ARK Survival Evolved has become a staple in the man-and-beast co-existence in gaming, updates are naturally bound to happen along the way. A recent announcement of another creature being added to the roster may become a game changer to all those playing the existing Xbox One version.

According to Aus Gamers, the recently acquired success of the ARK Survival Evolved title has given the entire team of Studio Wildcard a full load of happiness due to downloads that surpassed approximately a million. Properly enough, fans are treated to another magnificent creature that will most likely turn the tables around.

As delivered by Express, the newest addition to the lineup is the Procoptodon, a massive Kangaroo that towers at nearly three meters tall. The said prehistoric marsupial is capable of jumping at great speeds and heights, giving it an advantage in attacking and evading at the same time. Moreover, the Procoptodon can carry two players at once, which means that mobility for teams will prove to be a sure factor.

Delivered by VG247, interestingly enough, Co-Founder and Co-Creative Director Jesse Rapczak unveiled that the team does have plans for the game in the future. This has been put into question since the current title only exists in the Xbox One, and there are those already wondering when the rest of current generation consoles will have their share of the title.

Rapczak was quoted stating, "There are still at least seven months remaining until ARK's final release on all platforms. During that time you can expect community feedback to be integrated into the Xbox One version of the game with regular updates about every two weeks. This will eventually include highly-demanded features like split screen support, gamepad customization, UI improvements, tweaks to current game modes, balancing improvements and all the new content that is going into the PC version."

ARK Survival Evolved will soon be made available to the other consoles after a few months. Stay tuned for more news on the chart-topping exploration masterpiece by Studio Wildcard.
