The official trailer for "Vikings" Season 4 has been released and according to Collider, the trailer gives a hint on where the narrative will take the fans and viewers alike. The trailer runs for 1 minute and 51 seconds.
Other than that, the History Channel ordered a total of 20 episodes for the upcoming installment of "Vikings". As mentioned on Design and Trend, Season 4 will be divided into 2 parts. After releasing the 1st 10 episodes, the show will be having a brief hiatus then the 10 remaining episodes will be aired in the latter part of the year.
As for the official synopsis for the premiere episode of Vikings Season 4, TV Fanatic noted, "It culminated with the extraordinary battle in Paris, where Ragnar Lodbrok (Travis Fimmel) seized victory from the jaws of defeat but still returns to Kattegat dangerously ill. Thoughts of his death galvanize the forces who seek to succeed him as king, including his wife Queen Aslaug (Alyssa Sutherland) and his oldest son, Bjorn Ironside (Alexander Ludwig).
Meanwhile, Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick) continues power struggles with her calculating former 2nd in command, Kalf (Ben Robson); Rollo of Normandy (Clive Standen) betrays his Vikings heritage by remaining in Francia and Floki (Gustaf Skarsgard) is seized for his brutal actions to the Christian Priest Athelstan."
The 1st part of "Vikings" Season 4 will be running for 10 episodes. The premiere episode is entitled as "A Good Treason" and is scheduled to launch on February 18, 2016 at 10:00 p.m. exclusively on The History Channel.
