Apple's upcoming iPhone 7c is slated to commence its mass production soon. Many predicts that the new smartphone will feature a 4-inch display, 8-megapixel camera and fingerprint scanner.
According to Christian Post, the alleged device was initially speculated to launch sometime in September 2016. But new reports have surfaced stating that it will arrive earlier than that.
It was recently reported that based on China Mobile roadmap, the American tech company will launch the iPhone 7c in April.
While there is no concrete information about the release yet, talks are circulating recently, suggesting that the device will go into mass production soon. The production of the device may start because sources say that Apple has already completed the small-scale trial production. Thus, it is ready to commence its full-scale production by January.
ValueWalk cited some of the possible specs that the iPhone 7c might carry.
Rumors suggest that the screen in the iPhone 7c will have a resolution of 1,334 x 750 pixels. This device may have an improved pixel-per-inch rating over the existing iPhone range, giving an impressive screenfrom a budget smartphone.
It is also speculated that the iPhone 7C will arrive packed with an 8-megapixel snapper and 2 GB of RAM, which would be equal to the recent iPhone 6s release. Considering the smaller display of the iPhone 7C, it might be possible for the device to perform extremely efficient when released.
Rumored to feature a curved "2.5D" glass, the design of the iPhone 7c could be somewhat similar to the existing iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s; both of which featured curved edges.
With Apple's plan to arm the iPhone 7c with the same amount of RAM as the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, the upcoming iPhone 7 is also expected to receive a significant RAM upgrade later this year.
As for the price, International Business Times stated that the iPhone 7c might be tagged at around ¥4000 ($616 / €564 / Rs. 40,923).
These are merely based on speculations and rumors though as Apple is still mum about the device. Avid fans of the iPhone series could take this as basis about the specs and features, but should treat it as a pinch of salt at the same time.
