The rumors about the iPhone 7 surfaces all over the internet has been accompanied by talks regarding another upcoming handset from Apple, the iPhone 6c. This handset is speculated to sport a 4-inch screen with the best battery life yet.
According to Christian Post, the iPhone 6c will have 1,642 mAh battery capacity which is slightly bigger than the 1,570 mAh of the iPhone 5s. The Foxconn employees were the ones who revealed the device's battery. Foxconn is the Chinese producer that Apple contracts for most of its products.
The specs and features of the iPhone 6c is not yet open to the public but there are rumors pointing out that this device will have a 4-inch screen. It is also believed to be engineered with an A9 processor under the chassis. The faster processor is speculated to be coupled with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage.
The iPhone 6c is also rumored to be equipped with some of the features found in the iPhone 6 such as curved glass and the Touch ID feature.
In terms of design, the device is speculated to look much like the iPhone 5s that will be offered in three colors only - gold, silver and space grey. This might be a jump from the usual colorful palette that the C series is known for. There is another rumor, however, saying that the playful colors will still remain with the iPhone 6c.
Additionally, Highsnobiety reported that the rumored retail price is set at 4,000 yuan or $615 for a 16GB model. This will be a no-brainer over the $500 iPhone 5c 8GB.
Breathe Cast stated on its article that the iPhone 6c production has already started. With this, the units are expected to hit the stores within a few months. Another report claimed that the iPhone 6c probably will be released in stores by February 2016, just before Valentine's Day.
The Apple Inc. is still tight-lipped, however, about the still rumored iPhone 6c. Smartphone enthusiasts will have to rely mainly on these rumors and speculations as of the moment. But definitely soon more concrete details are expected to surface.
