Chris Martin faces a lawsuit filed against him by a photographer; What is Martin's take on this issue?

By

Last Tuesday, Coldplay's lead singer Chris Martin arrived in Los Angeles with a legal complaint to welcome him. This lawsuit is filed by a photographer named Richard Terry who complains over Martin's action in the incident.

The incident happened early this year as described by TMZ. Martin dined in a restaurant in LA and as he was about to leave the restaurant with his ex-wife, Gwyneth Paltrow, Terry happened to be on the sidewalk. Suddenly, Martin took a sharp turn which in turn almost hit Terry. Coincidentally, according to TMZ also, another photographer who happened to be across the street have been able to catch the scene, enabling him to capture how the incident happened.

11 months have passed and now Terry is filing a formal complaint towards Martin according to Independent. Terry complains that Martin is deliberately trying to hit him with his vehicle. Furthermore, Terry's complains include a statement about Martin not looking at the scene after what happened. Instead he drove away from the place of incident.

National Post reports that the reason that Terry is filing a lawsuit was because of the incident, he obtained "permanent and serious injuries" physically and emotionally. Now, he is asking for a monetary compensation for all the injuries he suffered.

Coldplay is a famous British rock band that has been known internationally for their songs (i.e. A sky full of stars, The Scientist and Fix you). The band recently released their new album "A Head Full of Dreams" which has 11 tracks.

With the recent turn of events for Martin, how will he react when the media says that his action towards Terry shows his distaste towards them? As of now, Martin's reaction about the issue have not been disclosed yet but will this incident affect on how the band's fans see him?
