The Walking Dead's equally successful spin-off Fear the Walking Dead Season 2 will feature a changed Travis Manawa (Cliff Curtis) becoming closer to Madison Clark (Kim Dickens). The second season will dig Victor Strand's past. Kim Dickens still hopeful for a crossover with the forerunner hit The Walking Dead.

Several spoilers exposed what to anticipate in the return of Fear of Walking Dead Season 2 as survivors Madison Clark (Kim Dickens), Travis Manawa (Cliff Curtis), Nick Clark (Frank Dillane), and Alicia Clark (Alycia Debnam-Carey) set sail on Victor Strand's (Colman Domingo) Abigail to escape the zombie apocalypse.

But Entertainment Weekly spilled out that sailing in the middle of the ocean is a bad idea. The second season will uncover reasons why many survivors stay on mainland like Rick Grimes and company instead of seeking safety in the waters as more terrifying things are in the ocean.

Cross Map added that Fear of Walking Dead Season 2 will witness the rise of a Rick Grimes in the character of Travis Manawa. Boarding Abigail will change Travis from a comical and composed man into something similar to Rick Grimes of The Walking Dead. However, the adjustments that Travis will make to survive will complement the strong personality of Madison Clark and will establish a great team.

Vine Report published that Fear the Walking Dead Season 2 will explore the past of Victor Strand, played by Colman Domingo. In the previous season, Victor offered his yacht Abigail to Travis and Nick to look for safety against the walkers in the seas.

But his character remained mysterious all throughout the season one. The source mentioned that Victor will play a significant role in the survival of the passengers of Abigail.

Earlier this year, reports emerged on the possible crossover between Fear the Walking Dead and The Walking Dead and star Kim Dickens openly expressed interest and enthusiasm on the concept, but she added the decision will still be on the writers and network.

The 15 episodes of the Fear the Walking Dead season 2 will premiere sometime in 2016.
