DC Entertainment's upcoming all-villain film, Suicide Squad, hinted the synopsis of who will the Task Force X be facing. Moreover, list of rumoured candidates as the biggest and most evil villain in the film was enumerated.
Months after the release of its first trailer, Suicide Squad is now giving details of what it tried to hide in the video clip. As reported by Comicbook, the forthcoming film's plot would focus on the assembly of this world's incarcerated Super Villains, given the access to powerful arsenals, and is on a mission to face a formidable foe which they described as "enigmatic, insuperable entity." However, the main plot would also include the team function as they included "Once they realize they weren't picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it's every man for himself?" DC Entertainment did try their best to keep everything subtle and vague but then, rumours about this entity spread out on the web.
According to Slash Film, the entity that's being talked to play as the squad's biggest threat would be the Joker himself. After series of group shots being posted online, there hasn't been an entry in which The Joker is included which can be speculated that he just don't play well along with others. Moreover, the comics also suggested that Joker is an evidently strong individual who likes to credits things to himself, hence, not a team player.
Next is Enchantress, as there have been reports that indicate her as the one true villain in the anticipated film - either a friend or a foe. She's not also included in any group photos circulating the web. Lastly, according to Christian Post, Lex Luthor, villain from Superman franchise, will himself be the enigmatic foe everyone is guessing about. This is after sources indicate that he will either make a cameo or a role in which DC hasn't confirmed yet.
Suicide Squad is the approaching film of DC Entertainment featuring an all-star cast of Jared Leto, Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Jai Courtney, Joel Kinnaman, Cara Delevigne, Viola Davis, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Adam Beach, Jay Hernandez, and Karen Fukahara in which they'll battle an entity amongst themselves or an import from another DC franchise. The movie is directed by David Ayer and schedule for the August 5, 2016 release.
