Ryan Coogler rumored to direct "Black Panther" movie; Chadwick Boseman to play the superhero; Expected to be released in 2018

Black Panther is one of the expected Marvel movies to be released on 2018. The titular role is going to be played by Chadwick Boseman. Aside from that, other casts of the film are yet to be announced. While Marvel Studios is still in negotiation with Ryan Coogler to be its director.

As reported by Entertainment Weekly, Boseman have already played two-consecutive roles of a African-American character and he is to play another African role: Black Panther. Boseman is enthralled to be playing as Black Panther and thinks that it is just the right time for the superhero to get its standalone movie.

Black Panther, according to Marvel, is the successor of Wakanda, an African dynasty kingdom. His real name is T'Challa and he is to anticipated to lead their Panther Clan. Black Panther lives in Marvel Universe and have also been a previous member of Fantastic Four and Avengers.

As for who will be directing the movie, Marvel Studios have not formally signed with anyone. But rumour has it that Ryan Coogler will be the one to direct it. However, Washington Post poses an argument with his possibility being the director of Black Panther. The article argues about racism issue and raises about black equality in Hollywood.

As of now, nothing definitive is set for the movie 'Black Panther.' But spectators can look out for the debut appearance of Black Panther in "Captain America: Civil War" which will hit the theaters on May 5, 2016. Black Panther is anticipated to be a critical character in the rivalry between Captain America and Iron Man in the movie.

Black Panther movie has a long way to go right now as Marvel Studios still in talks with who to direct it. But it circulates in social media that it will be Coogler. Boseman will be playing the African superhero character. The movie is expected to hit the theaters on February, 2018.
