The iOS jailbreakers have been doubling its effort in creating the jailbreaking tools. The jailbreaking tool for iOS 9.2 isreported to be already in progress and expected to be made available really soon.
Apple has finally unveiled the iOS 9.2 officially for the public after trying around with four betas. Following this, International Business Times reports that Apple has seeded iOS 9.2.1 beta for developers, which includes fix for bugs in iOS 9.2. With this, it will be just a matter of time before the iOS 9.2.1 version is rolled out to the public.
This is not the good news though for iOS jailbreak lovers who are eyeing for an iOS 9.2 jailbreak. However, according to MobiPicker, enthusiasts will be happy to hear that Pangu's 9.2 jailbreak might be rolling out soon.
The details on the iOS 9.2 jailbreak have been somewhat of a mystery, which is anticipated considering jailbreak developers rarely share any progress until an official announcement. Speculations stated that Pangu already has a working iOS 9.2 jailbreak ready, but there is no concrete evidence yet on the release.
It is also reported that the public may not see iOS 9.2 jailbreak until 2016 given Apple's release cycle for its iOS software updates. But it is only considerate if developers release the iOS 9.2 Jailbreak once it is already available because Apple's iOS 9.2.1 might patch up any exploits, making it useless.
Crossmap stated on its article that there have been talks saying that Pangu was able to release partially completed jailbreak solution for iOS 9.1 but users are reportedly a bit suspicious about installing the incomplete jailbreak. This is merely because of the reports that the Pangu-released jailbreak does not have complete functions and components. Thus, it is very risky to install it on one's Apple device.
Additionally, it is not recommended to be installed, but if there really is a need to jailbreak the iOS 9.1 updated devices, users should use the Safari browser and go to the Pangu official website. Once they are in the website, they have to immediately bookmark the site so that in case something goes wrong with the installation, the jailbreak process could be restarted.
Regardless, if one wants to continue running jailbroken software on an iOS-powered device, it is advised to stay clear from the iOS 9.2 update. Users are unable to downgrade from iOS 9.2 to iOS 9, which is the last known iOS version that has been successfully jailbroken. As for those who have upgraded to iOS 9.2 and lost their jailbreak, they have to wait for the next release, which is expected anytime in 2016.
