Most of MacBook fans have been eagerly waiting for the release of MacBook Pro and MacBook Air 2016 edition. Unfortunately, the highly anticipated laptops might not be included in the March 2016 event of Apple. Instead, the devices is now expected to debut in June 2016.
According to Christian Today, the MacBook Pro has always been reflected as one of the most powerful laptops in the market and the next generation has been teased for some time but no release date has been announced yet. It hasn't been included in a special Apple event scheduled for March 2016 either.
The unnamed occasion, which many fans believed to be the next "Spring Forward" event, is set to launch several new products for Apple. Some of these new products include the Apple Watch 2, iPhone 6c and the highly anticipated iPad Air 3.
Gospel Herald reported that the release date for the MacBook Pro 2016 has been pushed back due to the supposed unveiling of the iPad Pro. Similarly, there are also reports stating that analysts perceive this strategy of Apple Inc. to provide a substantial gap between the release dates of the MacBook Pro and the iPad Pro. This is to avoid the two products competing among themselves. In the same vein, it is also predicted that the MacBook Air 2016 release would be pushed back as well.
Meanwhile, one of the most persistent rumors about MacBook Pro 2016 states that the new laptop will have a 4K display upon being launched. The MacBook Pro 2016 is also speculated to feature Force Touch technology along with the OS X El Capitan right out of the box. The upcoming laptop is expected to have longer battery life, too, compared to its predecessor.
As for MacBook Air 2016, MNR Daily reported that it might feature Intel Skylake processors, in addition to improved graphics and RAM enhancements. The upcoming laptop from Apple is also likely to be powered with new batteries and cooling modules.
Apart from that, a USB Type-C support, Retina Display, Apple's latest OS X El Capitan and Force Touch technology are also speculated to be included in MacBook Air's features. Reports have it that it will have a powerful security system, thanks to the Touch ID in its Trackpad. This will enable Mac users to make Apple Pay payments online via the biometric scan feature of the laptop.
As of this writing, the company still hasn't given any detail about the 2016 versions of MacBook Air and MacBook Pro. Everything one can scrape online are only rumors that should be taken with a grain of salt.
