Lionel Ramirez Cervantes escaped from Bells Crossing Elementary School in Simpsonville, South Carolina Thursday morning, according to the Greenville County Sheriff's Office.
The 80-year-old couple were found shot to death in their Fort Lauderdale, and their vehicle was reported missing on March 22.
David Knezevich, 36, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, has been charged with kidnapping in connection with the disappearance of his wife, Ana Knezevich, 40, according to authorities.
On August 31, the bodies of Fraime Ubaldo, 30, Marangely Moreno-Santiago, 26, Evangeline Ubaldo-Moreno, 4, and Sebastian Ubaldo-Moreno, 2, were found in the basement of their home stabbed to death.
