According to an industry observer, FIFA might have asked all referees for the 2014 World Cup to be more "tough" in the hopes of addressing players who often fake pain or foul in order to gain opportunities to score, the Huffington Post reported.
Japanese fans of the 2014 World Cup had shown their shame on social media over referee Yuichi Nishimura controversial performance during a close match between Brazil and Croatia.
A tournament official had said during a FIFA morning briefing on Friday said that they are awaiting report on the allegations that the Croatian team had flooded their room following a controversial win by Brazil in Thursday's opener, Toronto Sun reported.
