The popular former NFL player Franco Harris remains steadfast in defending former Penn State University football coach Joe Paterno, who was involved in the cover-up of the Jerry Sandusky child abuse case for which Sandusky has been convicted for 45 counts of child molestation.
The Italian gossip magazine “Chi” published the topless pictures of the Duchess of Cambridge, which were published last week by the French gossip magazine, “Closer.” The Italian magazine is owned by the same company which owns the French “closer,” Mondadori group, which is in turn owned by former Italian Prime Minister, Silvio Berlusconi. The pictures appeared in the Monday’s issue of “Chi”
On Monday, people took to the streets of Kabul in Afghanistan and Jakarta in Indonesia to protest against the anti-Islamist film “Innocence of Muslims,” which sparked an uproar in the Muslim work last week, resulting in the death of the US ambassador to Libya Christopher Stevens along with three other staff members during an attack on the US embassy on Benghazi.
At a meeting on Friday, Karen Peetz, head of the Penn State University Board of Trustees urged her colleagues to accept PSU President Rodney Erickson’s decision to accept to pay the $60 million in penalties slapped on the institution by the NCAA in regards to the Jerry Sandusky child-sex abuse cover-up.
