Rachel Jeantel, a teenage friend of Trayvon Martin, was forced to admit that she did not write a letter that was sent to the victim's mother describing what she allegedly heard on a phone call with him moments before he was shot.
Jurors in the George Zimmerman trial saw photos of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin's body on Tueusday during police testimony about the night of the shooting, the Orlando Sentinel reported. The first state witness called this afternoon was Sanford police Sgt. Anthony Raimondo, one of the first officers to arrive at the scene after the shooting.
Jury selection in George Zimmerman's murder resumed in Sanford Florida on Friday, following four days of interviews with different potential jurors, the Huffington Post reported. Zimmerman began his second-degree murder trial earlier this week for the the shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, which occurred late February last year.
