A new bill that requires the administration of anesthesia during abortion has been signed by Utah Governor Gary Herbert. It is the first of its kind as anesthesia administration is only optional in other states.

The act of aborting a fetus due to its genetic abnormalities like Down syndrome is now illegal in Indiana. Governor Mike Pence recently affixed his signature on the bill making it a law in the state.

Texas law also known as HB2 is covering the entire state with closing abortion clinics since its implementation and one border clinic is still underway to be acknowledged by the law.
