Swedish group proposes 'legal abortions' for men

A Swedish pro-incest group has caused another type of issue after they've filed a motion to allow expected fathers to opt out of parenthood. The group has proposed to give men legal rights in having an abortion just before the conceived child reaches the 18th week of pregnancy.

The Liberal People Party's youth wing of Sweden has made commotions by issuing that men should have the right to opt out of being a father, as Independent reported. The LUF Vast has indicated that men will have the decision before the 18th week of pregnancy to allow the abortion. Thus, if the woman pursues it, the man would have no legal responsibility for the child.

Being accused of misogyny, Marcus Nilsen, the group's chairman, said that this idea was brought up by the very female members of the group as it would make sense that the equality between both genders will increase. Nilsen stated "This means a man would renounce the duties and rights of parenthood."

They added that by signing up on 'legal abortion,' the father would not have to pay for maintenance and of course, he's not going to have any right to meet the child, as The Local wrote. Nilsen also disclosed that when a mother is asked by her child on the future regarding the father, she could say: 'I consider this man to be your father, but legally he is not."

RT detailed that it is not the first move of the group as they previously supported incest and necrophilia. The group filed a motion at the end of February to legalize incest for the siblings over age 15 with a consent to do the act. Following consents, the group also said that necrophilia could be done if the dying person gave consent while still alive. He argued that everyone should have the right what to do on their body after dying.

The Liberal Party's youth wing has started movements that seemed ridiculous to some after they've supported men's ability to have a legal abortion, consented incest and necrophilia. The group has been criticized and bashed by Carl B. Hamilton saying that their next move might to have sex with 'hippos.'
