Yahoo has appointed four directors nominated by the New York based hedge fund Starboard Value, apparently bowing down to the latter’s strong demand. However, the move offers Yahoo the opportunity to explore more options in its core asset selling process. Through this appointment, Yahoo tries to exhibit its keenness in selling assets of the struggling internet company.
The Greek Prime Minister has requested the EU Council President for an EU leaders’ summit. However, his request has been overturned by the euro-zone President since Greece has failed to reach a bailout deal with its creditors till date. German government has approved €1.2 billion subsidy in the sale electric cars on Tuesday. The approval appears with signing an agreement by the senior government officials with the CEOs of electric car producing companies.
