The Greek Prime Minister has requested the EU Council President for an EU leaders’ summit. However, his request has been overturned by the euro-zone President since Greece has failed to reach a bailout deal with its creditors till date. The organization chief cites the necessity for reaching an agreement prior to setting up a schedule for a summit of the European leaders.

German government has approved €1.2 billion subsidy in the sale electric cars on Tuesday. The approval appears with signing an agreement by the senior government officials with the CEOs of electric car producing companies. Chancellor Angela Markel has chaired the meeting and the agreement has been reached on condition of equally sharing the required subsidy fund by the two parties.
