A Chinese journalist's resignation letter made headlines after a cached copy was retrieved in his scoail media account. The resignation letter was a form of his denounciation to President Xi Jinping's severe control over the media. In his letter he wrote it in Chinese words the phrase "I cannot bear your surname" pertaining to Xi.

The District judge has sided with insurance company MetLife regarding its case against the government. The judge said that the company should not be the subject of the governments strict regulations.

A freeport man is appealing a $14.5 million defamation verdict after he accused an orphanage founder of serial pedophile. His lawyers were claiming that the lawsuit has no jurisdiction because it was filed outside the U.S. where the founder was living.
