A gun-trafficking group that brought in guns to New York was busted by the NYPD following months-long operation. A couple from New Jersey was arrested, along with their 3 other accomplices in Virginia and another from Georgia. Manhattan District Attorney Cy Vance, Jr. sought for lawmakers to create a gun kingpin statute that will elevate the punishment for gun traffickers who sold more than 20 guns illegally.

A man dubbed as the "dentist of horror" was sentenced to eight years in prison in France after physically assaulting more than a hundred patients. The man claimed to have "psychological problems" but was later proven otherwise by French psychiatrists.

One of two cops charged in the vicious beating of a postal worker was previously sued for allegedly hitting a man with his baton. The city settled for $30,000 without admission of wrongdoing from the cops involved.
