A 23-year-old Queensland police officer has been charged with two counts of rape and one account of assault. This is after a woman complained about the constable, whom she met online, raped and choked her. The accused has been released on bail.
Former Newcastle United midfielder Jonas Gutierrez wins disability discrimination claim against the Premiere League Club. The club's managers told him that he would no longer play in the club before they learned that he underwent surgery. Gutierrez suffered from testicular cancer. His left testicle was surgically removed.

Kelsey McMurtry, 24, and her friend Summer Taylor, 19 are charged with child neglect. McMurtry left her 9-month-old infant inside a hot car in the parking lot of Deja Vu Showgirls where she was auditioning. Taylor stated that she's checking on the child, however, witnesses disputed that.
