Good news for anime lovers as the all-time favorite series "Naruto" will be released as a movie next month.

The film "The Last: Naruto the Movie" is scheduled to hit the big screen on December 6, 2014 in Japan. According to Crossmap, it will be directed by Tsuneo Kobayashi with musical scoring provided by Yashuharu Takanashi. "Naruto" and "Naruto Shipudden" creator Masashi Kishimoto will also be overseeing the entire project while writing the story at the same time.

The site reported that the movie will be about the life of Naruto and his wife, Hinata, their love story and his journey to becoming a Hokage. The film will reportedly answer issues and close the huge timeskip that happened between Naruto 698 to 700.

The characters of the movie will be played by Junko Takeuchi as Naruto Uzumaki, Nana Mizuki as Hinata Hyuga, Chie Nakamura as Sakura Haruno and Nariaki Sugiyama as Sasuke Uchiha.

Aside from them, an all-new character will reportedly be introduced in the movie. In a report by Latin Times, the character named Toneri Otsutsuki, a direct descendant of the Sage of Six Paths and Princess Kaguya Otsutsuki, will be debuted in the movie. According to the site, the new character will reportedly threaten humanity with his unique ability to control the moon.

In other news, a spinoff mini-series is set for release next year following the conclusion of the "Naruto" manga series.

According to KDramaStars, the spinoff will be released in April 2015, and will reportedly be focusing on the new generation of Shinobi, featuring the children of Naruto, Hinata, Sakura, Sasuke, and others. According to the site, Naruto and Hinata will have two children, a son and a daughter. The boy will be named Bolt or Boruto, as a pun on Naruto, while the girl will be called "Himawari" which means sunflower.

Crossmap reported that the series will still be written by Masashi Kishimoto and it will be shorter compared to "Naruto" and "Naruto Shippuden."
