LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian are caught up in a web of rumors after the release of their reality TV show, "LeAnn & Eddie."
Recently, "Star" magazine reported that the couple are using another house for the TV series to make it appear that they are rich.
The duo is using a $5.2 million Malibu mansion in their reality show.
"They want people to think they're rich, but the truth is they live in a much older, rustic house and definitely aren't swimming in money," said the report according to RumorFix.
Meanwhile, a representative of Rimes contacted the site and cleared that the rumors are false. According to the representative, the couple are filming in the multi-million mansion because they did not want to disturb the lives of Eddie's sons by shooting in their real house.
The public, however, is not convinced. Others are saying that they only spend half the time with Eddie's children with ex-wife Brandi Glanville and that the boys are usually spending time with their mother.
On other news, Rimes has made it clear that she is not a homewrecker that the media is making her out to be.
According to Enstarz, the singer insisted that she and Cibrian got together because of love and she did not steal him from the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star.
Rimes believe that the show is a chance for the couple to clear misconceptions about their romance, to show the truth that the media has allegedly twisted.
"People are always wanting to make it a story of me being a home wrecker and trying to take someone's kids. They take the love I have for my family and twist it around in some weird, sick way," said Rimes according to the site.
Catch the duo reveal the ins and outs of their relationship on "LeAnn & Eddie" every Thursday at 10:30 pm on VH1.
