"Bang Bang" singer Ariana Grande broke up with her boyfriend, Jai Brooks, for the second time.
An insider told Us Weekly that the Aussie comedian has not been very supportive to his girlfriend who recently lost her grandfather.
"When her grandfather was dying, everyone was there for her. People flew to Florida to be with her, but Jai didn't. Ariana just felt he wasn't there like he should have been," the source shared.
According to the site, the singer-actress shared a photo with a long, cryptic message on Twitter.
The long post read, "You learn a lot about love, life and the people around you during a time of crisis. July was painful for many reasons but of all the personal loss I suffered last month, the loss of my grandfather, a true gentleman, was the only one that truly mattered."
Grande continued, "I thank everybody who was here for me when I needed them as the ones who weren't really broke my heart. August is about to be a beautiful, beautiful month. Looking forward to all the good coming up."
The "Sam & Cat" star, however, remains positive despite the crisis she is facing. The insider revealed to Us Weekly that she is focused on preparing for her album release.
Grande was left devastated after her grandfather succumbed to cancer last month. It was reportedly known that the celebrity was known for her closeness to her grandparents.
According to E! Online, the singer had flown from New York to Florida before the Fourth of July to be with her grandfather.
Aside from this tragedy, Nickolodeon show "Sam & Cat" was also cancelled after only one season. Mail Online reported that this was following a rumored rift between co-stars Grande and Jennette McCurdy who also have alleged issues with Nickolodeon.
Grande and Brooks started dating in August 2012. They first split up after a year and had gotten back together last May. Brooks was part of the Australian YouTube comedy and prank group The Jaskonians.
