"PItch Perfect 2" Spoilers: Bellas is set to sing their way back to the screens this May 2015.

The Barden Bellas will be singing their way back to the theaters as they are set to return for the sequel of musical comedy "Pitch Perfect."

Anna Kendrick, who played the role of Beca, will be reprising her role in this sequel, along with Rebel Wilson who will again give life to the feisty role of Fat Amy.

They will now be playing as fourth year college students who are leading their university's all-female a cappella group.

This sequel is the first directorial gig of actress Elizabeth Banks who recently dropped a few hints about the movie.

The "Hunger Games" actress posted a behind-the-scene photo on her website that showed a new scene that the production is working on. The photograph is from a backseat of a car set in front of a green screen, usually used when a scene needs a background that is impossible or inconvenient to be made physically available on the set.

There was blue "Bellas" jacket draped on the back of the driver's seat with a brunette girl driving the car. It was captioned ""Just a Bella driving into the wild green yonder. I wonder what this scene could be..."

Although the girl's face is unseen, the partial image of her face on the rearview mirror suggests that it is Hailee Steinfeld, one of the few new characters in the film.

Banks previously posted photos of Steinfeld laughing with the other members of the cast and practicing dance routines.

"Pitch Perfect" is a story of an exclusive, all-female a cappella group "Barden Bellas" who strived to earn the gold in an inter-school a cappella singing contest. In the sequel, the group will aim for another gold for their next competition, but not without going through a fierce competition.

Though there is exact date for the release yet, reports say that "Pitch Perfect 2" is scheduled to hit the screens in May 2015.
