An elderly woman who accepted help from a stranger was barricaded her in her own home and sexually assaulted for days, according to a report.
Kenneth Gregory Williams, 69, stopped to assist a 74-year-old woman walking with her grocery bags in Portland, Oregon two days before Christmas. When the pair reached her home, Williams barricaded the door from inside and would not allow the victim to leave, according to FOX 12.
He then raped the victim for three days until she convinced him to leave on Dec. 26.
The victim immediately sought treatment at a nearby hospital.
Police identified and arrested Williams on Jan. 5. He was charged with three counts of first-degree rape, first-degree kidnapping, first-degree coercion and first-degree burglary.
Williams pled not guilty to the charges and will appear in court on Jan. 14.
Sex Crimes Unit detectives are investigating Williams for rape allegations in a separate case, according to FOX 12. He was also arrested for coercion and tampering with a witness in 2008 and for misdemeanor harassment and menacing in June 2024.
