Nexus 7 2 vs. Nexus 8: To Buy Now or to Wait? Qualcomm Snapdragon S4Pro Quad core 1.5 GHz processor, 3 GB Ram, and more

By

The world today is growing faster especially on the field of technology. People are always up to date as to what and when the latest gizmo to be released on the market is, and Google is on it again. As they are focusing on the "nexus", after a year, they have again promoted the previous nexus to the next generation. They announced that they are releasing the second generation nexus 7 on the market by the end of July this year. But what's more interesting is the rumor about the next step nexus, the nexus 8. Although it is only a rumor but it could be worth it waiting for the next step nexus.

The second generation nexus 7 now has the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4Pro Quad core 1.5 GHz processor and is running on 2 GB RAM which makes it more sophisticated than the previous nexus. The camera is also improved as it now has a 5MP rear camera and still 1.2MP front camera. The storage is still the same and still without a card slot, so you still can't expand the storage. As for its physical appearance, it has slimmed down and grown a bit taller than the previous. The screen has blown up to 1920 x 1200 pixels, a 7-inch display with 323 ppi pixel density and that is a lot better to watch movies.

If you are astounded by the specs of the Nexus 7 2, what more if you will hear about the rumored "Nexus 8"?

It is rumored to have moved to an 8-inch tablet, thus making it the rival of iPad mini, Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 and LG G Pad 8.3. It has been spread that the Nexus 8 is partnered with HTC, which in fact does have less experience on tablets, but has greater designs on their smartphones. Rumors also have spread that it would run on Intel Moorefield 2.33GHz that features a PowerVR G6430 GPU. It would also run on the latest version for it will be upgraded to the latest until it goes out to the market.

So, which would you prefer? To be impressed now with the Nexus 7 2 or to wait for the rumored Nexus 8?
