Mystery Surrounds Slain Woman Found In Hamptons Guest Room of Luxury Celebrity Getaway

Detectives are investigating the mysterious circumstances that led to the murder of a New York woman at an upscale Hamptons resort.

An employee found Sabina Rosas, 33, of Brooklyn, New York dead at the Shou Sugi Ban House Monday afternoon, according to the Suffolk County Police Department, ABC News reported.

"Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the murder of a victim whose body was found in a guest room at a Water Mill resort," county police said, according to NBC. "It was determined the woman was a victim of a violence."

Police believe the attack was targeted and isolated.

A cause of death and motive remain under investigation.

No arrests have been made.

The Shou Sugi Ban House is a wellness resort spread across five acres within a gated compound, according to its website. Thirteen luxury rooms, standalone residences and a spa are on property.

The luxurious hotel, which can cost up to $5,000 per night has seen such celebrity luminaries as Kate Hudson and Katie Couric walk through its doors, according to Vogue.
