Neymar agent slams Brazil coach Luis Scolari following 7-1 humiliating defeat against Germany

Luis Felipe Scolari will never escape the wrath of Brazil fans regarding the World Cup host nation's humiliating defeat against Germany in the semifinals match. A representative from Neymar's camp has voiced out his disgust about the Selecao coach following the historic 7-1 defeat against the Germans on Tuesday night. The Independent noted that the particular semifinals match was record-breaking, with Germany scoring five goal right before the 29th minute of the first half.

Wagner Ribeiro, who is Neymar's agent, went on a Twitter rant expressing his thoughts about Scolari's leadership of the Selecao, especially during the tragic match against the Germans. It could be recalled that his client was absent due to a career-threatening back injury, while team captain Thiago Silva is out due to the terms of the yellow cards he had earned in previous matches.

Ribeiro started lambasting Scolari by going through the Brazil coach's resume. Ribeiro said, "One - being Portugal coach and winning nothing. Two - going to Chelsea and being sacked the following day.Three - going to coach in Uzbekistan. Four - returning to Brazil, taking over a big team [Palmeiras] and getting them relegated to the second division. Five - leaving the club 56 days before the end of the Brasileirao [season] to 'escape' relegation. Six - being an old jerk, arrogant, repulsive, conceited and ridiculous.

The Telegraph said Scolari had refused to resign ahead of Brazil's third-place match against the Netherlands on Saturday. The match was considered to be a consolation for the tournament's host country, and the chance for the team to redeem themselves from the eyes of its fans.

On the other hand, it has been reported that Scolari would be meeting with the Brazilian Football Confederation in order to discuss his future with the national team.
