A Kentucky actress accused of dismembering and cooking her mom's body parts "really loved her mother" despite the alleged deadly circumstances, her former Hollywood co-star said.

Torilena Fields, 32, was charged with murder, abuse of a corpse, tampering with physical evidence, torture of a dog or cat, and obstructing governmental operations, according to state police.

The victim was identified as Fields' 68-year-old mother, Trudy Fields, the Associated Press reported, citing court documents.

But before the suspect was an alleged killer, she had her sights set on the silver screen, starring in 2019's A Dance Story, under the stage name Naomi Navarre, and alongside cast member and director Andoni Zorbas.

Zorbas recalled Fields was an "angel" on-set and "every director's dream."

"We bonded over our mothers," Zorbas told WLEX-TV Friday. "She really loved her mother. On one occasion when we were in the car together, she invited me to taste her mother's cookies."

So when he heard his former co-star was the prime suspect in her mom's murder, "I thought it was a prank," he admitted. "I thought someone was joking with me."

But, Fields seemingly lived a double life – a far cry from the Mount Olivet, Kentucky home she allegedly slaughtered her mother at.

"I know she lived in Beverly Hills," said Zorbas. "I know she bought all these expensive clothes to take pictures."

Police first responded to the victim's home Oct. 11 after a repair worker called to the home believed he stumbled upon Trudy's body.

The worker claimed when he arrived on site, Fields, who claimed that she was a witch, was "casting spells on them" and "being confrontational," police said, according to the arrest warrant, WLWT-TV reported.

Responding officers allegedly found Trudy's dismembered body in the backyard, a blood-stained mattress and blood on the back porch. When officers met Fields, she "appeared to have blood on her face, hands and clothing," cops wrote, according to the outlet.

Police alleged Trudy's arms, legs and head were chopped off and her upper body and spine were "severed in half and the organs removed," the station reported. They alleged some body parts were stuffed in a folded mattress while other body parts "appeared to have been cooked" in a pot inside the oven.

Fields allegedly shot her mom in the head on Oct. 8 or 9, before dismembering her, say police, the AP reported. She is also accused of killing a dog.

A motive has not been disclosed.

A judge set her bond at $1.5 million.
